Preface? Explanation? Mission statement??

The "Famous Names" project is a bit of a social experiment I am conducting over my personal Facebook account.

Basically, I want to see how people that know me would react to what I write if they didn't know I had written it.

I am attempting to do this by attributing whatever I write under a name which is a bastardized version -with the utmost respect- of a known famous literary or philosophical figure.

Also, I find it awkward and perhaps a bit pretentious to post my own writings as my status, so this affords me a certain amount of anonymity and the distance from my work that comes with it since I don't take credit for what I post
