Hope Against Hope

Hope Against Hope

A Poem by Aram Alexander
"

Part of a song i will probably never finish writing. The fact that I don't play an instrument and that I can't sing worth a damn probably doesn't help.

"
Maybe I should disappear,
Make like I was never here,
Maybe I should make it clear,
That your lies sound insincere.
And I just wanna let you know,
That it hurts me so to let you go.
But this is how I prove my love,
This is how I rise above.
Letting you run wild and free,
Hoping you'll return to me.

Such a nice analogy of letting go of what we really want.
