RoseA Poem by Aram AlexanderWritten to Third Eye Blind's "Carnival Barker", inspired by life.
Believe in me, I do believe, in you, you see, so faithfully. You'll always be, inside my heart, inseparably, the shore and sea. Just follow me, and we will be, together forever, so blissfully. You'll always be, a part of me, never alone, so long, as I still breathe. I want to breathe, your smile, I want to feel, your laughter now. I want to see, your happiness, your happiness, your happiness. I want to see your happiness, your happiness. I need, you to, know that, I do too. The truth, it hurts, but sets us free. No one's perfect, not me or you, but does it matter, if we're together? I don't care what, the people say, if this is real, or simply fake, What you have done, what I have not, when love happens, the ego dies. For lovers' sake, I hope my hand, that you will take, if not my heart, will simply break.
Without you here I, would drift to sea, without you here, to comfort me. I don't know just, how sad I'd be, so alone, if there's no you, alongside me. without you here, without you close, without you near, without you Rose. © 2013 Aram AlexanderAuthor's Note
