The Pain inside

There is pain,
That lingers inside me,
That falls heavily upon my brain,
Killing all of my intentions of being happy.

I wish, no... long,
For no more sorrow.
That I may move along,
To a better tomorrow.

There have been many times,
Where I have cried,
And put my feelings into rhymes...
Rhymes about the pain inside.

Awe. I've been there too. This is a sad poem compared to some of your others. I hope you are okay.

I like the brevity yet this poem is filled with emotion. I personally would not have tried to rhyme long with along but that's just a bit of nitpicking coming out (don't mind me).

To anyone who can relate to these feelings, the line "I wish, no...long" really hits home. Good poem.

I like this, it flows really nice and I think it's a nice length. I think everyone can relate to this from time to time, but don't give up, pain can be replaced by happiness.
