Love And LossA Poem by PenFoxTwas better to have love
and lost, then to have never loved at all, That is what has been
said, But tis more difficult to
cope, When they are dead.
When they are gone, When they die, You can’t help but weep, You can’t help but cry.
Is all you can think of, Their end? Don’t fret " many can
understand, What it is like to lose a
friend.
Though they are gone, You must stay, It will not help, To throw your own life
away.
It may hurt, And it may even burn, I don’t blame you, If for them to come back,
you truly yearn.
Love and loss, Is a force, Not to be reckoned with, For its secret weapon, is
self-remorse.
It will steal from you, Practically take your
life away. It will sear deeply, Begging for you to end
your stay.
