Twenty ThreeA Poem by Pen Draggin'
Your backside is moist and the towel is musty,
mine on the floor. I'm older now by one more year since we first found ourselves betwixt. As it is on any other night plagued with normality. The stale smoke like fog draped over our personal possessions. Those twinkle lights up too high that make all of my senses just slightly distorted. But HO! In a quick twist you are bent and bellow me. I am bare as it was twenty three years past and you are naked with a star. You say something I know you say something and I'm only hearing smiles. You fold me into a trembling bed of vicious violets as it was. I am older than before. © 2011 Pen Draggin' |
