Matter & TimeA Poem by Pen Draggin'Vocally I am arrested. Tied and bound like an abductee when you call me to tell me you miss me. Astonished am I to realize that my good demeanor throughout this ordeal has done more damage than offer mutual placating, for you are just as suspicious and vicious as ever. Instantly I am misty-fied the moment you say my name and I wonder if I should try acting as if I'm still saddened, even if I thank you for having the strong will to do what's best by both of us.
How could I betray my emotions? I assure you it's only a matter of time. And if you'd care to listen closely you may find all of the answers in the silence you leave behind.
