"A predetermined storyline with none of my questions answered". I don't agree with the implication here, that anything is really pre-determined in our lives. At least, not totally pre-determined. However, I share your observation about the scarcity of answers.
The "player" which you refer to, probably represents a player in life. As in, playing along with life's rich journey?
"I am tied and bound". I did wonder what exactly, the writer see as binding or restricting her? Does she mean, in her choice of options in life? Or some other form of barrier, to her way of thinking? "Like flickering projections". I was not clear about this, line. Even so, it could by a way of showing how uncertainty or weakness, is always present in our lives. Or, that our awareness of reality, "flickers" from rich understanding, to a dark abyss....
That's pretty brilliant in my opinion. I love how you compared humans as just another projection in life... we all come and go. Words can't express how much I loved this. Awesome write! :]
