A Poem by Pen Draggin'

 I am not terribly bad,
but sins rage in my brain.
So I cast them out upon a page;
tainting the virgin paper with my pen.
Then I must say
that I am horribly unjust,
for having spread the sickness
to an unaware audience.
For all the wretched wrongdoings
that I continue to confess
I ask alone,
your harshest, most brutal punishment.

"Tainting the virgin paper with my pen," is definitely a new image. Great poem. I enjoy short poems that are weighty.

The best people are the most tortured by their wrongdoings. But flaws are what make a person real and beautiful.

Strong , I love it ... your self punishment seem to be harder than anything, confusion what is right or wrong until your final request , to be punished ... Thanks , Yossi

Fantastic...Virgin Paper - great line and bringing it all back home by explaining how you've spread your sickness by way of your only outlet or escape from it...brilliant...clink.
