...Now, speak to me as if all the flowers were jealous and listening...
Your entire poem was a breath of fresh air. I hope many readers find this beautiful poem I especially liked the closing stanza.
Beautiful words accompanied by beautiful scenery, who could ask for more? I love fields of wildflowers. It reminds me of driving through Texas and seeing the flower fields that stretch for miles. I like the line, "the moon off the water winks". Nicely done.

My pleasure. It's pretty, both the poem and the pic. I'm a lover of beauty in all forms.
Hmmm interesting little write here..Your imagery and wording is very strong..this picture a perfert compliment...but what of the feelings??...why am I stumbling on "Now, speak to me..." I almost feel there is a sence of neglect? Is it the flowers that admire this lovely lady...or the "writer" the one jealous that perhaps this lovely lady fails to speak such words to "him?" LOL or I could just be overthinking this lovely piece. Nicely done! You have me pondering every word.

Yet, I left it to people's interpretations to do the thinking for them. :)
