A Night Out in January

A Night Out in January

A Poem by Pegs Van Damme

Shutter vision

And my legs

On either side

Of the yellow lines in the street.

Slow and labored

mists of winter breath

spread in my chest.

I felt my soul tremble.

A droplet

Of warm follows up my spine;

Like water,

Its contents

Empty, spread

And heavy,

like memories,

pull down

on my head.

About
I read over my bio once, and realized it was bullshit. We all live, we all try, the only difference is some of us translate that onto a page while the rest just focus on the experience. I'm a documen.. more..
