Joy Is in the Air
Precious is the hope of spring;
sunshine kisses dew.
Flowers bloom, and robins sing.
Happy children swing;
joy has found its due
breaking from cold winter's sting.
Dancing breezes add
their own special zing,
glad to bid the cold adieu.
Songbirds chirp on wing
melodies anew;
songs of spring come echoing.
Tulips' lovely fling
brightens up life's hue,
pastel colors wandering.
Gifts each day shall bring
open into view;
precious is the hope of spring,
fresh and bright and glistening.
