Positive Thinking in a Negative World

Positive Thinking in a Negative World

A Poem by Sharon Miller Bolander
"

10/40 using Tovli's Ten Words: BURST, WOUND, TATTERS, ROOTS, FLASH, APPEAL, SEARING, EARS, CONCEIVED, FLOWER

"

Positive Thinking in a Negative World

crocus in the snow Pictures, Images and Photos

Roots conceived a flower dream
amidst the tatters winter bore
and wound appeal where none might seem
beneath the gloom of nevermore.

Burst icicles of thought
flash from winter's tomb;
searing intellect holds taut
daring eyes and ears in bloom.

lovely. frankly, i think it is more difficult to take a 10/40 and place it in classic structure, such as a rhyme. I think you did a great job accomplishing this--not only succeding with the challenge, but form and creating a flawless seem with imagery and message. nicely done. tovli
