Reflection

A Poem by Sharon Miller Bolander

Reflection

Mirrored Pictures, Images and Photos

Silence seeks a timeless pause
Worthy of its common cause---
Meditative,
Peaceful,
Still,
Not a noise to spoil the thrill.

Thrill, it is to feel so calm;
Quiet is a precious balm---
Tranquil,
Motionless,
Composed,
Restful just as if I'd dozed.

Dozed, I've not, though eyes are shut
Pondering life's 'if' and 'but'---
Thinking,
Dreaming,
Making sense
Of each act and consequence.
