Running as Fast as I CanA Poem by Sharon Miller Bolanderhumor
What’s the song that I came to sing? Let me tell you just one thing! If you think I’ve a voice that’s grand, You should sit ‘cause you’ll fall if you stand. Ev’ry child within range will cry, And adults will not wonder why. It’s as plain as some chalk ‘gainst a board--- I can’t hit any note or chord! If a pantomime’s your cup of tea, You’re still knocking upon the wrong tree. If I open my jaw, All you’ll hear is heehaw As I laugh at the thought and just flee. © 2008 Sharon Miller BolanderFeatured Review
