Dream's KeepA Poem by Sharon Miller Bolander
Only in dreams can a melody dance
Far from a page in her fanciful trance. Found in her notes are the feet that take wings Soaring beyond all the lyrics she sings. Sugar plum fairies and magical elves Jump from the books on the library shelves. Princesses kissed by some ugly, old toads Find handsome knights riding steeds on dirt roads. Magic meets fantasy wrapped up in dreams; Life in realitys left on moons beams. Morning sneaks stealthily closer each hour Dropping like sunbeams into castle towers. Wake me? How dare you! I'd much rather sleep Wandering, wondering into dreams keep. © 2008 Sharon Miller BolanderFeatured Review
