Call Me Mud Pie MomA Poem by Sharon Miller BolanderJust place me in a flowerbed with birds a-circling overhead; please add some sunshine and some rain to make this landscape my domain. Pink columbine and peony, some hostas growing 'round a tree can mingle with the marigolds acknowledging petunias bold. Bright rainbow colors, my delight, parade from dawn 'til dark of night. Do I need add another clue? I’m passionate about this view! But, best of all, when I survey, it seems the work is only play. These muddy knees and dirty hands… oh, yes, they’ve answered my demands because I’ve gained true happiness becoming such a dirty mess! © 2008 Sharon Miller BolanderFeatured Review
