Gift of Time

Gift of Time

A Poem by Peggy Gildon

Today is a gift take time to laugh and smile

All around you is beauty; reflect on that for a while

The flowers, the blue sky, the lakes and the trees

The mountains, the rivers, the ocean, a breeze

The family, the knowledge, the birds, squirrels, and doves

The children who give you their unconditional love

Take time to enjoy all that God has given you

Be grateful for each day; a gift you can renew
