Get out of my Life

Get out of my Life

A Poem by Peggy Gildon

Sit back and observe I’m prepared to begin

This is my life to live and I’m gonna win

You can taunt me and tempt me but I’ll fight all the way

I have faith and my family and together we’ll pray

I have the strength and desire today

I have the ability to keep you at bay

You are not welcome to mess with my head

I won’t give you strength, I’ll see you dead

You don’t make me happy you don’t bring me pleasure

Getting you out of my life is a moment I’ll treasure

I don’t want you in my life you just get in the way

I won’t surrender to you anymore, I get stronger each day

Everyone has their own unique demons to face..this is testimony that it can be done... I love the "in your face" message of strength and determination shown here...

I really like this, it shows the strength you have and if you just stick to it you will make it you have come a long ways in your life and this poem shows it.
