Mirror

A Poem by Peggy Gildon

When you decide to come out of the darkness and begin to heal

You’ll find the pain that you thought was your life wasn’t real

Your happiness your joy will triple in size

You’ll feel exhilarated and you will be quite surprised

As bad as it gets and I’m not gonna lie

It won’t always be easy, but you’ll always get by

I’ve heard it said so I’ll make it quite clear

You’ll want to be proud when you look in the mirror

Amen to this poem! I believe we have to be happy with ourselves before we can ever begin to be happy. Nice flow!
