Bittersweet Contradictories.

Bittersweet Contradictories.

A Poem by Rachael
"

I'm not really sure. I was thinking about lots of different things when I wrote this.

"

Who the hell are you

To force your beliefs upon me?

I may not be innocent,

But I'm not all that guilty.

Who the hell are you

To force your will upon me?

One bittersweet evening

Scars me for eternity.

Who the hell are you

To force your religion upon me?

Where the f**k was God

When my life was nothing but misery?

Who the hell are you

To force your emotions on me?

I've got enough of my own to manage,

I'm sure you couldn't have that many.

Who the hell are you

To force your problems on me?

You're so f*****g conceited,

I don't care what happened at that party.

Who the hell am I

To be so selfish and bitter?

Once so innocent and pure,

When did I become such a quitter?

It's gay, I know. But I guess I can write good miserable poems, or bad miserable poems. -shrug-

After every extraordinary experience I've had, I'm finding now that I'm just an average high school student. My eyes have seen hurtful, saddening, and cheerful things for nearly 17 years now. I'm much.. more..
