A Poem by Peejay
"

This is a rap poem inspired by the many wealthy upper middle class types I came across in the Sydney punk and hardcore community. Written from their perspective. A bit of light hearted humour.

"
My mother stays at home my old man is a broker
The only gun I've ever held was a pump action super soaker
I aint playing it dumb I aint acting the fool
My parents sent me to an expensive private school
Never had it tough growing up in a shire
My favourite punk band is alien amplifier
Live in my own world where logic and reason get scolded
I love to go to shows just to keep my arms folded
All of a sudden living at home got real s****y
So my parents bought me an apartment in the f*****g city!
My friends are like brothers, we all fight for a cause:
"My generic neck tattoos are better than yours!"
Never had a white hooded clan out to lynch me
I've got a cup holder for my latte' in my suburban SUV
This is my calling, my greatest social priority:
The Upper Middle Class White Male Minority
