TiredA Poem by TheOddOne
I am tired of being sad,
I am tired of being fat, And I am tired of being alone. My shoes have holes Deeper than the holes in my soul From all this running. Running to you, Running away from life, Running away from myself. I am tired. You would say that all this running Would make me lose the pounds That make me hate myself so much But what I lost after all this running Was my time, my soul and my mind. I am tired of running, I am tired of crying, And I am tired of missing you. Don't get me wrong, I tried waiting for better days, For better nights And for better friends. I tried waiting, And waiting And waiting And waiting. I am tired. I am tired of waiting, I am tired of hating And I am tired of you. Do not worry. I will keep waiting, Keep running, Keep crying, Keep missing you, Until my soul will beg me to stop And my mind will scream "No More!" And I will rise from dust and tears Building a new heart and a new soul And I will wait for you, no more. But now, I am waiting for better times.
