It's about the love of my life.

I met a girl,

with green eyes,

that sparkled more than a jewel,

I had to look into them.

 

I met a girl,

with long brown hair,

that was softer than a cloud,

I just had to feel it.

 

I met a girl,

with a gorgeous smile,

it was whiter than snow,

I just had to tell a joke.

Its not bad. I don't know a whole lot about poems. I know that most amateurs' poems suck; my English teacher told me that. I also know that most poems are suppose to have a specific form. There are a lot of different kinds of poems (a lot of different kinds of forms). But then there is the free form which is however you want it to be I guess, which I respect less because they are less than a challenge, but still, some can be very good.

my point is, I'm not much of an authority on poems. but I do like this one. its very simple, but very cute.

I'd make the poem longer. It would make it more appealing.
