Match

Match

A Poem by PeanutButterCat

With a match you are satisfied by the small glow it gives off, thinking it will last forever. Of course it doesn't, and there you are miserable once again. You're lost, scared, upset. Wondering what had made it go out. But what we fail to see is that it's not always our fault. Sometimes the fire blows out on its own. You've been trapped in the dark for so long you don't remember what it feels like having warmths kiss your lips. However light cannot exist without darkness. And it's glow will find you not matter how far you've fallen into the abyss, and your eyes will be able to see the beauty in the world.

yes, i can totally relate
i think it's great, the only suggestion i might offer is to break up the lines? maybe take the 's' off 'warmths'. but i like it.
