![]() Your BeingA Poem by Peaches![]() A crush got me fucked up, so I'll be writing here often again. (Art is by Chiara Bautista)![]() The smell of rain lingered in the air mixed in with the concrete floor of the platform The sky was covered with a bright gray clouds unwilling to evaporate. Two black crows soared through the bright sky onto one of the old motel Just as I thought the sky could wait a little longer for rain to come again, tiny driplets, the size of tears, sprinkled onto my bare dry hands The thought of your being illuminates and devours my common sense. Mundane impulse stress became nothing more than words on paper. I was reminded that our skins are of titans, until the day our souls reach a possible divinity. But your existence reassured me that, that's okay. Like a boat floating on the clear blue floor, where the lake reflects an empty sky. Does it matter what is up and what is down, when the moment is peaceful? I was reminded that at any moment, an unfair circumstance could explode into chaotic disgust. But there you are, as you are, making me think that there's beauty in chaos and perhaps it's only because Lucifer wanted peace. You in the way you are, are something. You pleasantly are there, much as you are and aren't a distress to me.
