Where the Wind Blows

Where the Wind Blows

A Poem by Peaches
"

We started as awkward strangers and ended up as childish dreamers.

"
Carefree is what I wish to be
Holding your hand in the summer breeze
It is a green field with memories
This is where our story began and ended
It started with you beside me
It ended with you lying by me
The grass never looked so greener when I am with you
Let's keep these days between us
Where the wind blows
Where we spend our youthful days
Staring at the endless blue sky.

Author's Note

Peaches
My poetry seems to be getting simpler. But I guess that's what the summer heat does to my soul.

JC
simple is profound and beautiful, very lyrical like a folk song.
