Laundromat Reflections

Laundromat Reflections

A Poem by PeacefulPieces
"

A mind void of emotions...

"
Laundromat Reflections

Wash, dry, fluff and fold "
Going through the motions.
Outside it’s damp, cold "
Eyes void of emotions.

Going through the motions,
She knows she will leave.
No matter the potions,
From ill, no reprieve.

Outside it’s damp, cold
But she can’t see through glass "
Lights reflecting gold,
Thinking of homework, class.

Eyes void of emotions,
Nothing does she see "
Folds another notion,
Her reflection, me.
