Window Reflections: Autumn on GrayA Poem by PeacefulPiecesSometimes gray is necessary to make the colors seem even brighter...Window Reflections: Autumn on Gray The things I see are not that odd - reflecting puddles, driveway cracked - yet still I see the hand of God in Autumn leaves and trees that act as podiums for Heaven's skies and playgrounds for the birds on highs. The sky is dark but still there's light and shadows play beneath the trees. The green, the red, the gold so bright all shimmer in October's breeze. The beauty of this Autumn day can't be undone by weather's gray. My eyes reflected in the glass show brilliant colors just like Fall, but still you see the season's past that brick by brick have built a wall. If only you could see beyond, you'd see the beauty in the bond... For colors seen are ne'er as bright as when they're seen in front of gray, so even when the gray goes white and hazel colors find decay, you'll know the life they lived once more with every photograph they bore.
