Blue Eyed Amy and Green Eyed Ethan

Blue Eyed Amy and Green Eyed Ethan

A Poem by Twirly

 The moon pulls strong

the blue, blue swells and the green, green hills

to gaze and intertwine constantly, consistently together.

    Sapphire blue, passionately gleams

and emerald green distinguishly beams,

as grey jagged palms meet icy rolling fingers.

Soft, crisp beds support sturdy mountains and trees,

Keeps deep roots and plants many seeds.

Blue swinging swells supports seeking souls,

Seeps through holes and cools tired feet.

Happy suns sing while green feathers grow, blue drops sparkle

and some birds twitter as little fish jump.

Angry winds bellow while green stems bow, blue blankets crash

and frightened feet scatter as iron rods fall.

Tired nights lay while green pages close, blue expanses hide

and gentle lappings pacify the wayside itinerant.

Green mixes blue and blue mixes green,

Rising and burying with times unwritten scale

Another good write. I love every inch of your poem. You seem to get engrossed deeply in your search for natural treasure, and you have expressed them quite professionally, maintaining creativity.

Keep it up.

Thank you.
