My Light

My Light

A Poem by Terry
"

Something I wrote a few hours after I learned of my father's death

"

Nothing can possibly contain my tears because

The burden is too heavy

I can no longer stand the silence,

I wanna screams until my voice fills every void

And set ablaze everything around me

Until the darkness becomes a beautiful brilliance,

Until the flame consumes the floors of the deepest oceans

And the peaks of the tallest mountains,

Until the world becomes

A magnificence glow of radiating light visible from heaven,

Until you can look down and see the luminance
