If I didn't know your words were lyrics, I'd think they were - the tempo sort of jumps off the screen!
It's quite an unusual theme, no, it IS an unusual theme but then, you always see things differently from other people, that's what makes you a unique writer - not that I understand most of what you write - but, your words are thought-provoking and picture raising.. what more can a reader ask.
It is so true that we often see in others what is within ourselves. Even in reviewing poetry, our reviews reveal something about our self. When I look around and I see the beautiful blue sky and the trees offering shade, I see the beauty and good in mysef and I am enlightened. I think we also are a reflection of the world around us. I think more people should look around, see what good is in their environment, and if they find none, change their world, and in changing what is around them, they change themselves. Everyone deserves a bright blue sky, or whatever it is that is beautiful in their eyes.
Those lyrics are indeed very beautiful, the meaning behind it is strong, the imaginery one can get from reading/ hearing this is very creative and touching.
my dude,
right now, i'm feeling like i wish i had never read this but, rather, that i had written it myself somewhere sit'n alone....but, i thank you for make'n it happen.
if i may:
"It's still a Looking Glass World
what you're seeing is mostly you
In a Looking Glass World,
Wonderland is a melting through"
this line, in particular, got me....
very sharp, succinct, and poignant....
dag
I love this as lyrics, and I love what I perceive to be the truth behind the glass. When I look at me there is me, and you and we....but its still just me. I think IT laughs as me. Great though provoking lyrics....I loved it.
