Oblivion (Love)

Oblivion (Love)

"

SONG LYRIC: Spirit Self is little self's Oblivion -- AND WHOLE SONG IS ON THE PLAYLIST -- DON"T MISS OUT!

"

Make no more fractured conclusions

zero falderal

I am a way through illusions

hero's journey tall

A thousand miles on a hi-wire

keeps a man awake

Go step by step in the true fire

all for goodness' sake

No flock, no block, no fatuous grins

Oblivion (Love)

Oblivion

You miss the mark if you believe

more than seeing through

You're better off with some tea leaves

than old priestly coups

God's not some stick in the dead sky

graybeard daddy-o

It is the source of your plum pie:

psychic body flow

No flock, no block. . .

(Instrum bridge)

You're wise to deal with your Shadow

sabotaging grace

It's not a threat, just a bad sow

unawakened face

Ain't no recalcitrant demon

just your woolly head

So get a clue, get a beam on

shift your sight instead

No flock, no block, no fatuous grins

Oblivion (Love)

Oblivion

No stock, no crock, no ignorant sin

Oblivion (Love)

Oblivion

Love this verse , reminds me of Don Juan, if you see Evil stop looking at it !
Thats where it gets it power. A powerful statement

Nice job, I like the words you used in this piece, i will have to listen to the song to get the full effect. I did have to read it a couple of times because i would get lost, but the beginning is my favorite. Keep on writing

We each carry a candle, and storms are all around;
the only eternity, love, when it is found!

The eye looks for flow,
the heart senses the beat,
and with that the Poem sings complete

No. I reread and then read again. This is very good and to follow it really gives insight. You can erase all the blather in my review. Very good. Thanks very much...raining

Okay then, Ezra Pound.... you jump fast into the everywhere without waiting sometimes. On a high wire is so complete a metaphore (is there an e at the end of metaphor) that it makes cold fingers of partial sweat run down the magic kingdom of an alleged heart. You seem to have much genius. It exudes and dialates and all of that stuff.

You are the fingernails breadth away from wallace stevens zen park and ride. (or something like that) You have an alleged heart. you have everything. You are a better writer than I am. However, since I am over here and looking at this with (my direct pointing) eyes, I see that you must back up some.

Is any of this makeing sense. Gary Snyder, maybe that is where you might wish to go in your writing next. Go look at some rocks on a mountain.

I am being bombastic. s**t. didn't mean to. good poem good poem.... don't take me wrong. This is very good. If I had written it I would dance around the kitchen in my socks and underwear screaming and crying with laughter but I just have a feeling.... you need to trade in your word-set again. Moult.

LIke a siren of Delphi I see without knowing. It is telling me (It?) that you must now go a new place in your writing. Thanks, raining

Another great song write, enjoyed very much. I will always look to the big man upstairs when things are tough because sometimes things get beyond our control. Nicely penned. Thanks for sharing! PW

I haven't listened to the song yet, but they lyrics are great. I like the part about being wise to deal with your shadow. So many people are afraid to face their shadow maybe due to shame, fear of condemnation or whatever. And many of those that do face the shadow blame it on those 'recalcitrant demons' in order to avoid taking responsibility for it. It is vital to 'shift your sight instead.' So many people run to therapy to deal with the shadows yet you can participate in all the therapy in the world, but if you aren't willing to engage in introspection and changing the way you see things and work on changing your thoughts, you aren't going to get anywhere. And heck, if you are willing to be introspective, you probably don't even need the therapy, and it's a lot cheaper!

O!
This was a tough one for me...tough i must say, i have to tell u about this 'one' thing, but will have to do it in a msg....

I think if one looks within and believes in the power of love and self...one can find what no other can tell or give...therefore making the tea leaves more significant! ;-)

btw...that was some great strumming in the bridge! ;-)

X,
O!
