13th Psalm

13th Psalm

A Poem by Pax Analog
"

BESIDES BEING A LYRIC, THIS IS ALSO A FULL SONG BY ME ON THIS SITE, IN THE PLAYLIST.COM PLAYER, ON MY PROFILE PG. ALONG WITH 4 OTHERS. Noting this "quietly" with the other lyric/songs was frequently overlooked, so maybe this "louder" notice will work. ;-)

"

Jesus Jason spread the news

dead or risen, fresh from dues

Superstition, do or die

script the text that does not lie

Take it to the other side

live your moment free and wide

Check your levels, check your fate

sing the songs of love and hate

Words to live by flow through mind

born of Spirit, clear unsigned

Scroll your meaning line by line

springing from your sacred spine

Take it to the other side. . .

I mount the sky of the morn

embrace the dark Unborn

I am the eye ("I") of the storm

rocking the sleepwalk norm

Bounty of forgetfulness

who's the host and who the guest?

Ardently from dusk till dawn

praise the Ground you walk upon

Take it to the other side. . .

I mount the sky of the morn. . .

"Bounty of forgetfulness

Ardently from dusk till dawn

I listened to the song first and then came to read the piece. Then I opened up a second window so I could do both at the same time. I'm not going to compare your styles with artists/groups that I know, but your lyrics and style is definitely your own! Great perspective, great song!

The rhyme scheme gives these lyrics such great rhythm as it flows along constantly piquing the imagination, both prophetic and profane. Great poetry!

Great flow...which is probably why it works both as a piece of poetry and as lyrics. I'm a huge fan of great songwriting...and this really hit a chord with me. Again...phenominal flow!

Bravo!

I haven't istened to the playlist yet...
I just wanted to comment first,
on the lyrics
that are like fresh air to my soul.
"Words to live by flow through mind
born of Spirit, clear unsigned
Scroll your meaning line by line
springing from your sacred spine
Take it to the other side. . ."
************These are my favorite lines!
I can't wait to hear it in song...
Your energy is strong.
Thank you for the pleasurable read his evening.

this is an excellent poem in pace that really draws the reader to ponder,
words to live by flow through mind" indeed the concept has a subconsious effect
in the readers mind, 13th psalm, clever, and crafted with a sense of precision,
reflecting what it means to embrace the idea of eternity, spoken on more
than one level, its taking fate into one's own hand, and owning the moment.
I thoroughly enjoyed reading the passionate depth and scope of thought.

I LOVE this "Mr Pax" ~grins~
I love the introspection... the strength that your words conjure.
Life is for living, experience can make us weak or strong
...ultimately it's our own descision. Intoxicating and uplifting. Brilliant.

the stanza "take it to the other side live your moment free and wide check your levels, check your fate sing the songs of love and hate" reminds me of the line from desiderata, "you are the child of the universe, no less than the trees and the stars. you have the right to be here, and whether or not it is clear to you, no doubt the universe is unfolding as it should..."

Life has its balance and the vital equilibrium depends on one's style of achieving homeostasis.

nice song mr. pax.

I like the musical connotattions of your spirit seeping through
the guidance of The Lord to follow through to deliver to those who want to see,
like me, and I need to go home and read the thirteenth Psalm; it is true
that all the hardships of life are only really soft momentary trances of tears, shed or left in irises, waiting, even to accomodate later, the cheeks, with a smile, for graitude, of God.

Thank you.
