Stay

Stay

A Poem by Pax Analog
"

Embracing Love to help medical recovery.

"

you flicker

awake

collision

trauma

shell-shocked

son murmurs

love from

him

love from

me

you squeeze

his hand

then two

fingers together

in response

your body’s

a wounded

fluttering bird

breath comes

in short gasps

i’m far away

unmet outsider

fiercely blazing

the psi-field

of your arrhythmic

heart’s arising

stay in this

adamantine

Heart of mine

becalmed

reborn

embraced

in this bonfire

of immortal Love

I actually can relate to this. Flying miles away to see a friend so close to death due to an accident. The presence of friends did more for him than any medicine or doctor.

That embrace of love fuels the need to live on.

Unique, warm piece here, man. Impressed and enjoyed. Pen on!

With each day renewed hope ... this road maybe long but love and belief makes this journey possible ... embraced / in this bonfire / of immortal Love ... again, thoughts and prayers with you.

I am hoping she continues to gain consciousness and health. I am sure this poem meant so much to her, your love, even from faraway, is a great healing power.

Thank you so much!
this is really heartwarming to me. there's a profound understanding of love coming from the poet, through fear and pain, the love is immortal and sacred. Very nice write.

Realization often comes from trauma and perhaps would never come in any other moment. You captured the theme very well and with an impressive economy of words. A very interesting and thoughtful read.

Thank you. May all our words reach deeper into the Heart of Existence in all forms, all realms.
this sounds bad either way you slice it. there is an inevitable loss. i like the imagery of being reborn through the bonfire reminds me of the phoenix. getting absolution. but if there's a way for your love to be saved that would be wonderful; but if your love slips away you have to dredge up all your strength to let her go. we usually think about our selves at this point instead of what is right for the one who suffers. excellent poem. great message, something to be pondered on. thank you.
