Stay

Stay

A Poem by Pax Analog
"

Embracing Love to help medical recovery.

"

you flicker

awake

collision

trauma

shell-shocked

son murmurs

love from

him

love from

me

you squeeze

his hand

then two

fingers together

in response

your body’s

a wounded

fluttering bird

breath comes

in short gasps

i’m far away

unmet outsider

fiercely blazing

the psi-field

of your arrhythmic

heart’s arising

stay in this

adamantine

Heart of mine

becalmed

reborn

embraced

in this bonfire

of immortal Love

I actually can relate to this. Flying miles away to see a friend so close to death due to an accident. The presence of friends did more for him than any medicine or doctor.

That embrace of love fuels the need to live on.

Unique, warm piece here, man. Impressed and enjoyed. Pen on!

Thanks, man! Awesome observation about the power of caring presences in a life-death situation!

Hey, Pax...I haven't seen you in a while. I hope your absence means she is doing better and you are spending your time wisely with her. Hope to see you back soon.

There is nothing than love cannot do. And this thought is what makes us all human.

A great disposition amidst demanding or crucial situation. Thank you for sharing an excellent write Pax:)

Beautiful treatment of dealing with illness in a family unit. You didn't dramatize what, with experience, you learn to respect as an experience much akin to grinding your forehead against cut rock every morning. It's not something that's very poetic at all, dealing with a loved one who is unwell or seriously injured. You let the love and timelessness of our shared hope be organic through scant words.

I see the spirit being reborn in this.. the words lifting the illness and leaving only immortal love to heal all..x

This is something I know all too well, present or not, love transcends all, near or far, it is felt in the heat and the heart of immortal connections, sometimes not easily explained but felt none the less. An exceptional write that touches the souls spaces of those who believe in the power of love.

Touching, painful read. Words are pictures to our soul, yours are very hopeful and sweet.
