Coma

Coma

A Poem by Pax Analog
"

Prayerful prose-poem.

"

Did the query I sent distract you? You needn’t have answered then. Agony. You were driving -- and then you crashed. And now, the day we were to meet, you are lying in bad shape in a coma, too many miles away. I have not even seen your face. Nonetheless, our love burst in the virtual realm like a geyser of midnight suns. Gritty health hurdles were cleared. The treasured day of meeting was finally near. Then a cruel twist of time reared its ugly incident. How can I reach you, love, in your twilight state? I can only emanate healing heart will. You were already weakened by recent surgery. We had assumed the high mantle of romantic destiny. Untouchable grace, beauty, passion. One attention glitch ditched the dear date divine. I pray you awaken soon on the way to whole. Holy is the Love we found. Holy is your soul’s sojourn. Holy is the moment beckoning for greater gravitas in the hollow halls of evanescent human business. Martyr not to velocity’s random dangers, my sweet love. Heal back into tomorrow’s rising sun.

"How can I reach you, love, in your twilight state?" Beautiful writing. This truly came from your heart. Lovely words, gorgeously strung together. My thoughts and prayers are with you and with the person that this was penned for. I hope that everything works out for the best.

I do not pray, but I do believe in quantum physics. all thoughts that are emanated work their intent. (That is a double edged sword). Like so many, love and passion become strong in this place of virtual reality. I feel for you...my thoughts are with you both.

That was so beautiful thank you for sharing this piece. May I ask how things are now? This was beautifully well written, all emotions played out and the impact was unbelievable.

Thanks so much!
Every breath a prayer, words breathed to find the very air to bring health and healing to a loved one.

Heal back into tomorrow's rising sun

This is an exquisite line, I pray in the writing of this and the words released brought some peace, and healing followed. Emotionally written.

When it's accepted fully.
Your words are delicately executed. Such sadness reading this, I hope all is well.

This is the kind of sadly beautiful piece that can only be truly written from the heart ... thoughts and prayers with you and hope for tomorrow's rising sun ...

This is one of the saddest pieces I have read on WC. Simply because it could have been any of us. How random the reaper. I am so, so sorry Pax. I do wish for her recovery for you both.

Thank you, John! She's awake & improving. Appreciate the kind thoughts!
in this poem...you exquisitely written, your words captured one's soul crying. descriptive imagery conveying the angst, trying to capture hope in regards to your love one recovering. your words crying out, praying, that everything will be okay and that how desperate you are that you could take what happened to this person, yourself, take all this pain away, beautiful poem. i am truly sorry, sending positive energy... best wishes...thanks for sharing
