Path

Path

A Poem by Pawprints

It’s a crumbling pathway

We’re walking down

We can see the stars in the distance

Though in our hearts we know they’re unattainable

For now though,

It’s peaceful, and a little sad

But a hopeful kind of sad

So we walk, hand in hand, down this road

I don’t remember where is started

And I don’t know where it ends

But now I know we’ll be okay

As long as we keep going

And look at the stars

I liked theme and how this plays out...the path is a revolving circle...yet the circle gets bigger and bigger as you make your approach...if you can walk...at some point you will gain understanding again...history repeats itself...

Very, very true.

Ditto...I liked this verse...also...
I admire the simplicity, especially because its something I can relate to and have thought of often. Nice, flowing read.
