Frozen

Bite of the cold

shudders between my bones

 

Snow crunches between my toes

Ice flowing into my hair 

 

My body rattles 

frail against the wind's push

 

The black sky above me throbs

tugging me from the ground

 

Tugging me away

 

And I close my eyes

and let it
