Life of Wonder

Stare over the dark ocean

                                    Feel the sand between your toes

The sharp bite of mist

                                    Hot and burning

Cool and chilling

                                    Let it crumble back to the ground

Sharp nips of salt

                                    From the rock that it once was

Cold shock of the water

                                    Dry hot memories

As it slams over your head

                                    Running through your fingers

Chatter of teeth

                                    Blowing away with the wind

Gooseflesh pricking on your arms.

                                    Drifting out of sight

Eyes burning with salt

                        Breathe it in

            This world of magic and water

                        Sharp shocks

           Warm breezes

           Life of wonder
