Wait for me my daddyA Poem by Paul williamsthis poem was really hard for me to post. I wrote this when i was in a dark place suffering from depression. We were expecting a baby and this is a realisation of the sadness id leave behind.
Please wait for me my daddy,
Ive got so much i want to say, I feel your cuddles every night, I hear you talking every day. Please think about me daddy, And the love that we will share, When you can teach me right from wrong, And protect me by being there. Please wait for me my daddy, So you can wipe my teary eye, And hold me tight on a stormy night, And Sing me a lullaby. I know you feel sad my daddy, But please remember that soon will pass. And soon i will be with you, To make the sunshine last. Ill need your kisses and your cuddles, To help me grow to be, Anything i set my heart to, With my daddy next to me. © 2015 Paul williamsFeatured Review
