Rat trap Town

At first i took a step,
Eyes hazed from the sun
I Appreciated everything i saw
Often wondered what would become
And then i started walking
Taking everythin in my stride
The Cheeky chap of rat trap town
Lifes for living ill join the ride
Until i started running
All the good times paused to see
What was happening to those i loved
What was happening to me
And now as i jog along my path
My mind cant help but to rome
How can a burnt out shell of hope
Come from a happy home
