Forever Spiralling

Forever Spiralling

A Poem by Pauline

As the hand pulled down

The shutters of night

Our fluid forms rolled

Circling

Fingers grasped my hair

The ripeness of swollen lips

Melting into the hollow of my cheek

Volcanic heat begins to boil

Hot lava rising

Carrying us to a place

Beyond reality

To the cool spring

Soothing and quenching

The thirst of our souls

To drink in the secrets

Of love

Time and you will take us

Through decades

And galaxies

Our bodies forever spiralling

No beginnings

Never ending

In the throes of love's passions. Remarkable images that encompasses what most of humanity seeks in our connection towards that ephemeral emotion and its nature. Very nicely written Pauline thank you for sharing your poem with us.
