At This Moment

At This Moment

A Poem by Pauline

At this moment

I’m feeling as if

a burst of spring is blooming

amongst my darkest shadows of sadness

scattering around its silken flakes

to quell and lighten my wintry heart.

At this moment

as I raise my eyes to the sky

searching for lightness, for brightness

a sense of hope is giving birth

drifting down through the ether,

through the treetops

settling in my heart

waiting to share

At this moment

I dare to hope that love

and joy could be mine

At this moment.
