Funny Little Robots

Funny Little Robots

A Poem by Pauline Marie Daley

Funny little robots sitting in a line,

Standing up, sitting down all at the same time.

Listening to a speaker speak words of assumed truths,

Putting money in a plate like money at a booth.

Singing praises while minds wander,

Sacred things these minds don't ponder.

But they think of "better" things,

These little robots without their wings.

Funny little robots sitting in hte pew.

Funny little robots aulthough there are few.

They rise and fall like the sun and moon,

But this will all end very soon.

After seven suns have come and gone,

Then my friend it won't be long,

Until they come to sit and dine,

Funny little robots, sitting in a line.
