aisle

aisle

A Poem by pdk

slow down
what foot do I start
with
a feat of verse
were you in a marching band
a dance band
do you want anything
else
played
the trees were arranged
as thought
it was a white
wedding
while snow
on a volcano
just stayed
still
all the while
down the aisle
as though there were no other
place to shop
