When you were acting silly

When you were acting silly

A Poem by Paul Velora

Young, beautiful, ponytail, you
A strand of hair falling across your face
When you were acting silly
You'd puff great gouts of air at it
It would fall back across your eyes
And, cross-eyed, you'd accuse it.
