The Final Goodbye

The Final Goodbye

A Poem by Paul Bell

She watched him sleeping, wondering

When did she stop loving him

Was it gradual

Did she ever love him

Could she love another

Her mind was made up

She would leave today

He watched her sleeping, wondering

Placing the pillow over her face

Did he ever love her.

Don't think she left him after all.

Nor will she ever......
I do believe that he did love her very much. If he couldn't have her... he didn't want any one else to have her too ( he knew that she was going to leave him. God! I sound like Mexican drama.)

I think he did.
Just a tad possessive the lad.

This poem was very good. It has a sad and ominous feel to it.

Yeah, I think he was a jealous guy.
Love is a tricky thing- to love and be loved can be just lust, to be inlove is love at the highest form- pillows don’t get to the root of the situation the answer lies in the heart- communication is best answer silence separates people not distance🌹interesting set here, nice twist🌹

so sad, but as they say aside from love being a powerful emotion, it is also a variable, subject to change.
