MadelineA Poem by Paul Bell Collaboration with Lingering Soul. Madeline don’t cry, seagulls in the sky watch upon us We’re in a different world Don’t wait for love Life is waiting for you Madeline touch my eyes, pictures looking through you The world can’t wait for Madeline Get out there, it all belongs to you It’s in the sky, stars are all around you Madeline don’t cry, seagulls in the sky watch upon us We’re in a different world Don’t wait for love Life is waiting for you Madeline your name in lights shining brightly Everyone loves Madeline Captivated by a kinship of promises If roads should separate her Along the days Of yet to come Love is all there is For she shines beyond a light Inside a perfect glass chamber Surely a reflection of everything He would amply imagine Of soft tranquility they both spoke Love was to be known as is Nothing of arrival would tune this out He is the star that fell into her Waiting would resolutely travel As he is her and she became him.
