Speaking in defense of lipstick, lol. But seriously, I once travelled to a biker rally with a chick who had to reapply the makeup streaked across her face at every truck stop on the trip. She brought a plug in curling iron to a farmer's field, and set her alarm half hour early so her boyfriend, with whom she had already lived 3 years, would not see her without makeup. Very sad, this type of vanity, which isn't generally vanity at all, but lack of confidence.

oh yes, vanity will undo the beautiful....and when the question is asked...he will no longer be there.

my first ex exemplifies this very well...
i am sorry to say...she was not like that the first couple years i knew her...she was opposite.

I know make up can be a mask at times.
But one woman i knew took it to the extremes.

On a side note, isn't it paradoxical that when a woman wants to attract a male, she puts on a lipstick, yet the act itself is not practical at all because if they end up hooking up she will either have to remove it or end up like the Joker, hence looking more unattractive.
Don't mind me, just some Sunday philosophy going on here.
